Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is a lovely, historic burial grounds dotted with willow trees and miniature stone walls. Famous for an elevated area known as Author's Ridge, it is the final resting spot of writers Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry David Thoreau, and Ralph Waldo Emerson. It lies in the downtown area, a couple blocks southwest of Minuteman National Historic Park.
